Hummingbird is a young, fast-growing house of stationery brands in Vienna. We offer paid internships for students whose studies require one. You work closely with our small team on current projects and see how a growing consumer business is built.

No. 01Graphic Design Intern, AI & Digital Design (f/m/d)Paid internship · Vienna

You will work with the design teams of Edition Colibri and Luft und Liebe on new collections, from first sketches to print-ready files.

What you will do

  • Design greeting cards, invitations and wedding stationery
  • Use AI design tools such as Adobe Firefly or Midjourney to develop concepts, patterns and variations
  • Prepare print-ready files and check proofs with our production partners
  • Create product images and layouts for our online shops and social media

What you bring

  • Studying graphic design, illustration or a related subject that requires an internship
  • Confident in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience with AI tools for design and image creation
  • A portfolio that shows a feel for typography, colour and paper
  • Good German and/or English
Start & hoursBy arrangement; full-time or part-time, for as long as your studies require
LocationVienna, with partial remote work possible
RemunerationAt least €1,026 gross per month at 38.5 hours a week (Austrian retail collective agreement, first internship during your studies), part-time pro rata. We are happy to pay more depending on qualifications and experience.

The internship is fixed-term and lasts as long as your studies require. It does not come with a promise of a job afterwards.

No. 02Business Operations Intern, AI & Automation (f/m/d)Paid internship · Vienna

You will support the day-to-day business behind both brands and learn to use AI tools on real business cases to make it faster and simpler.

What you will do

  • Support order processing, stock planning and coordination with production partners
  • Analyse sales and operations data and prepare reports
  • Build and test AI-assisted workflows, for example for product listings, customer service or forecasting

What you bring

  • Studying business, economics, computer science or a related subject that requires an internship
  • Analytical, organised and comfortable with spreadsheets
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude, and the drive to apply them to business processes
  • Good German and/or English
Start & hoursBy arrangement; full-time or part-time, for as long as your studies require
